Mapula Ntombikhona Ndou

Founder

Mapula Ndou is an inspirational speaker, published author, and the founder of We Are Women Too  a South African movement dedicated to supporting and empowering women affected by infertility.

Her debut book, I Am a Woman Too, was officially endorsed by the Honorable Minister of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, Sindisiwe Chikunga, and has touched hearts across the country and beyond.

Born and raised in Durban and now based in Pretoria, Mapula is rooted in her faith, with deep ties to the Lutheran Church. She and her husband, Khathu, have walked the road of infertility with courage, honesty, and resilience, experiences that now fuel her advocacy.

Through We Are Women Too, Mapula offers emotional, spiritual, and practical support to women living with infertility and pregnancy loss. Her work has expanded across borders, with the movement launching internationally in Zambia and her participation in The Ego of Infertility, a Canadian-based documentary project.

Now serving as a member of the African Host Committee for the World Fertility Awards presented by Pregnantish, Mapula brings the voice of African women into the global fertility conversation, advocating for dignity, access, and healing.

Her mission remains clear: to restore dignity, break silence, and impact lives — one woman at a time.
