Impacting Lives, One Woman at a Time
We Are Women Too is a South African non-profit movement born out of pain, resilience, and purpose. Founded by Mapula Ndou, a woman who has walked the difficult road of infertility, pregnancy loss, and the mental health struggles that come with it, our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and empowering space for women who are navigating the silent battle of infertility.
We understand that in many communities, infertility is not just a medical condition, it is a taboo. It isolates, shames, and silences women. We’re here to break that silence. Through awareness campaigns, healing events, support circles, storytelling, and advocacy, we give voice to the voiceless and bring dignity back to women who have been overlooked.
At We Are Women Too, we believe motherhood comes in many forms, and every woman’s journey deserves to be seen, heard, and respected.
Join us as we rewrite the narrative, one story, one woman, one heartbeat at a time.
A safe space. A place where I don’t have to explain my pain, because you already understand it. On this website, I hope to find:
Support and Sisterhood – A community of women who get it. Who’ve cried the same tears, fought similar silent battles, and still choose to hope.
Real Stories – From women just like me, who are walking or have walked the path of infertility, loss, and healing.
Education and Empowerment – Reliable information about infertility, IVF, egg donation, adoption, surrogacy, and more – explained in ways that make sense and feel accessible.
Professional Help – Referrals to trusted fertility specialists, therapists, and coaches who truly care.
Events and Healing Spaces – Retreats, virtual talks, support groups, and healing sessions that remind me I'm not alone.
Resources That Matter – Practical tools, articles, and guides to help me cope emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.
Hope. Always. – A reminder that even in the heartbreak, I am still a woman. I am still worthy. I am still whole.
Because We Are Women Too is more than a movement – it’s a lifeline.
